Post-Graduation Work Permits, or PGWP, are for international students who wish to live and build a career in Canada after completing graduation from a Canadian institute.
International students can continue to live in Canada and start a new life there after graduating from a post-secondary educational program with the help of the Post-Graduation Work Permit program.
The PGWP program gives international students an open work permit for three years, enabling them to work for a Canadian employer without any restrictions after graduating from a Canadian designated learning institution, or DLI. In case you are wondering, prospective applicants interested in obtaining a post-graduation work permit have up to 180 days to apply after finishing their studies.

However, IRCC can ask you to submit more documents after receiving your application.
