In today’s video update, we will talk about Australia’s Migration Program Planning Levels for 2023-2024.
The Government of Australia has announced its 2023-24 permanent Migration program planning levels, going back to pre-COVID-19 numbers. Of the total 190,000 available slots, the Family stream will consume about 52,500 places which is approximately 28% of the program, and the Skill stream will take 137,000 places which is about 72%.
Within the Skill stream, most visa categories have stayed steady or reduced from 2022-23 levels, except for the employer-sponsored category, which elevated to 36,825 from 35,000.
Moreover, the Australian government will capitalize AUD 27.8 million over two years to improve visa technology systems, planning to improve service delivery efficacy.
