The Government of Australia has introduced a temporary visa route for people to attend the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. The newly launched visa will allow foreign nationals to visit Australia for the Women’s World Cup 2023 event. Interestingly, these visa holders will be allowed to enter and exit Australia multiple times as long as their visa remains valid.
What you should know is that applicants need to have a written endorsement to participate in the World Cup 2023 events by the Local FIFA Subsidiary. Plus, applicants also need to prove their ability to support themselves and their dependents financially while staying in Australia.
Moreover, applicants are required to fulfill the health criteria, that is i.e., not have a disease or condition that can possibly lead to a notable healthcare and community service cost to Australia and limit access to healthcare services for residents and citizens of the country. Therefore, visa applicants could be asked to go through a health check and have health insurance.
Furthermore, applicants must confirm their intention of only staying in the country temporarily while meeting the character requirement that demands them to have no criminal record or associations with criminal activities.
Surprisingly, the newly introduced visa is free for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, and applicants can only submit online applications.
