NOC Changes Will Impact Express Entry Candidates From Now

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is transitioning to the NOC 2021 system. Here are all the things you need to know about the changes.
The change in the National Occupation Classification (NOC) version was planned after the announcement this summer on July 27. IRCC will now shift to the 2021 NOC version.
Some of the 100+ Canadian immigration programs including Express Entry will have changes in their eligibility because of this move.
Let’s look at the key factors of the FSWP’s Selection Factor Points
The Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP) selection points will now be following the Skill Type/Level updated chart presented with the NOC 2021 system.
For instance, if a candidate would’ve got 10 points in Skill Type/Level 0, A or B for arranged employment, the same points will be given for arranged employment in TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3.
