According to reports, the Australian government will support 1,000 workers from Vietnam to work in its agricultural sector in 2024 under the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme, which aligns with this agreement.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia states that Australia’s Agriculture Visa is no longer obtainable as a visa product. Therefore, the agriculture workers from Vietnam will now accept this opportunity via the PALM scheme.
