National Minimum Wage in 2023 Expected To Increase
In today’s blog update, we’ll be taking a quick look at the United Kingdom’s expected national living wage changes.
From 1 April 2023, the United Kingdom government will increase the country’s national living wage (NLW) to £10.42. The UK government will also raise the minimum wage rates for young workers between the ages of 16 and 22.
So what other changes can we expect?
The UK government will increase the country’s NLW by 9.7 %. The government announced that the NLW is en route to reaching the government’s goal of two-thirds of current median earnings by 2024.
