5 Approved Language Tests
Including the PTE Core, now five language tests are accepted by Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for immigration purposes. These include the following:
- CELPIP General Test (English)
- IELTS General Training (English)
- PTE Core (English)
- TEF Canada (French)
- TCF Canada (French)
** Willing to migrate to Canada? V&I will guide you in the step-by-step process.
All five of these tests assess language ability within four skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Candidates may need to fulfill different criteria within these four skills, depending on the specific program that they apply to.
