As Canada transitions to a post-pandemic economy, the government is implementing changes to stabilize the number of TFWs. The goal is to ensure that new residents and families have access to necessary services while maintaining a sustainable immigration system. The target is to reduce the temporary resident population from 6.2% in 2023 to 5% over the next three years.
