As of February 6, 2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has revised its processing times for permanent residency, temporary residency, and citizenship applications.

Based on the last six months’ data, these processing times are subject to change.
The new processing times are mentioned below:
1. Citizenship Applications
Previously, the processing time for citizenship applications was 11–15 months, which has now been increased by one month to make it 12–16 months.

2. Permanent Residency Applications
Previously, the processing time for permanent residency applications was 12–17 months, which has now been increased by one month to make it 13–18 months.
3. Temporary Residency Applications
Previously, the processing time for permanent residency applications was 5–11 months, which has now been increased by one month to make it 6–12 months.
