Out of Canada’s 13 territories and provinces, 11 have their own Provincial Nominee Programs with their own individual in-demand professions and criteria, as per the need in the labour market. If your job is included in a particular province or territory’s in-demand occupation list, it is likely that you will get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence in Canada.
Receiving a provincial nomination grants candidates an extra 600 points to add to their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, which basically assures that they will receive an ITA.
