The primary goal of these new streams is to strengthen the province’s economy while supporting international students and workers.
These three streams are introduced to replace the current International Graduate and International Post-Graduate streams.
According to Nairametrics, a financial advisory company, the province will continue targeting priority occupations by inviting candidates who hold job offers in the construction, healthcare, and early childhood education sectors.

What Are The Three New Immigration Streams?
- The Bachelor’s stream will target recent Bachelor’s degree holders with a full-time job offer.
- The Master’s Stream will facilitate recent Master’s degree holders, regardless of field of study, with a minimum one-year full-time job offer.
- The Doctorate stream is designed for graduates and candidates in Ph.D. programs.
What’s more is that the language requirements will be elevated for most streams, raising a minimum Canadian Language Benchmark level 8 in the new graduate streams. In contrast to the lower current levels which vary by occupation or category.
