In today’s blog, we are going to share with you the latest updates regarding the launch of the New Active Investor Plus Visa in New Zealand.
Submissions for the application for New Zealand’s Active Investor Visa Plus were being accepted by the Government for high-valued investors. This is to successfully build New Zealand’s businesses.
The New Active Investor Plus Visa is the substitute for the previous Investor 1 and Investor 2 visa categories. Acceptance of new applications for this visa was closed on 27 July 2022.
Economic Development Minister Stuart Nash and Immigration Minister Michael Wood both have confirmed the decision for the launch of The New Active Investor Plus Visa following the Immigration Rebalance Strategy of the government.
Michael Wood also stated that with the new Active Investor Plus Visa, Immigrants will be able to invest in passive asset classes such as bonds without investing directly in Kiwi companies.
As per his statement, Investors willing to invest in the firms of New Zealand will be eligible to apply for the new visa with a total investment of $5 million.
