Key Changes in the Temporary Graduate Visa.
- Stream Renaming:
The Graduate Work stream will be renamed to the ‘Post-Vocational Education Work’ stream. The Post-Study Work stream will transform into the ‘Post-Higher Education Work’ stream. The Second Post-Study Work stream will now be known as the ‘Second Post-Higher Education Work’ stream.
- Age and Qualification Adjustments:
The age limit for applicants will be set at 35 years across the newly named streams. Specific qualifications will be required for each stream, focusing on aligning educational outcomes with labor market needs.
- Visa Duration and Eligibility:
Visa durations have been tailored based on the level of qualification, with differentiated periods for Bachelor, Masters, and Doctoral graduates. Special provisions remain for Hong Kong and British National Overseas (BNO) passport holders, offering extended eligibility and visa duration.
- Cessation of the Replacement Stream:
