There’s good news for Pakistanis interested in securing an Australian visa since the process for visa biometrics has been streamlined to facilitate them.
Pakistanis no longer require appointments for visa biometrics, allowing them to complete the application process without wasting their time and energy.
According to a tweet by the Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Neil Hawkins, a person can avail of the service by walking into any Biometric Collection center located in Karachi, Lahore, or Islamabad.
All the bookings finalized prior to this announcement will be honoured by VFSGlobal.
However, new appointments through the VFS website were suspended on 10 May 2023, as mentioned by the High Commissioner.
Previously, visa applicants needed to secure an appointment for biometrics, wasting their time and energy. Now the newly introduced measures will undoubtedly make the process hassle-free and efficient for people interested in travelling to Australia.
