As per the Hays Salary Guide data, up to 88% of the employees have the chance to get an increase in their salaries compared to last year, which was just 67%.
Besides the increase in costs for businesses in Australia by this trend, growth in the employees’ salaries will also increase their disposable incomes resulting in the consumer’s confidence to sustain.
During the recent job summit arranged by the Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, increasing wages was the highlighted point of the discussion. It has been acknowledged by all parties who have failed to keep up the salaries in recent years due to inflation.
