Did you know that UK ministers are considering limiting dependants of foreign care workers?
According to reports UK government is looking into limiting the number of dependent care workers can carry into the country. This is but one step in a comprehensive plan devised to lower overall immigration rates. According to Environment Secretary Steve Barclay, James Cleverly wants to reduce their dependent numbers.
The changes comply with the policy set by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak who considers the reduction of illegal migration as the priority. Robert Jenrick teaming up with Suella Braverman, the Home Secretary, supports a ban on dependants that care workers bring to the UK, as well as a restriction on health workers bringing dependants that would allow only a particular quota to come into the UK.
These curbs would involve limiting foreign health and care workers to bringing only a relative to the UK.
