Australian Government Proposes Visa Numbers For 2022 – 2023
In today’s Blog, we will be updating you about the proposed visa number for the year 2022 – 2023 by the Australian Government.
With the aim to boost Australia’s economy and recovery after the pandemic, the Australian Government has published new proposed numbers for the MIgration year of 2022-2023.
The numbers are generally the same, but differences have been made within the visa categories, especially the residency and work permit categories.
Total skilled route numbers were 79,600 in 2021 – 2022, with 109,900 aimed for 2022 – 2023. The number of family visa categories has been reduced to 50,000, a mild decrease from the previous year.
With these changes, it is clear that the Australian government is prioritising economic recovery and emphasising on bringing in foreign labour is vital for solving the current problem.
