State and Territory Nomination Quotas

Australia’s states and territories have specific quotas under the Skilled Nominated (Subclass 190) visa and the Skilled Work Regional (Subclass 491) visa. For example, New South Wales has been allocated 3,000 places for the Subclass 190 visa and 2,000 for the Subclass 491 visa, reflecting the strategic distribution of migration opportunities across the country.

Australia’s 2025 PR intake reflects its commitment to balancing economic needs with social responsibility, providing a pathway for skilled workers and families to establish themselves in the country.
