South Australia received an interim allocation of 70 nomination places for Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) from the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs which opened on 8 September, 2022.

The starting date of the Business Innovation and Investment Program as disclosed by the Australian Government was 8 September 2022.
How many vacancies are available?
The Australian Government has declared that there will be 70 vacancies in the Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) nomination place.
What are the options to apply via the BIIP?
It has been informed by the Australian immigration authorities that they are making sure about the nomination of high-quality top business owners, investors and entrepreneurs who will contribute to the betterment of South Australia’s economic prosperity and workforce requirements, as well as to handle the limited number of nominations available.
The following measure are being taken by the Skilled and Business Migration:
- Business Innovation Stream (Subclass 188A)
Applicants are required to submit an ‘Intention to apply’ (ITA) for review. Those applicants who will give high quality ITAs, might be invited for applying in state nomination as they will be able to create genuine and sustainable business opportunities.
- Investor Stream (Subclass 188B) and Significant Investor Stream (Subclass 188C)
Candidates applying for SubClass 188B and SubClass 188C will be considered on the merits with more benefit to South Australia.
- Entrepreneur Stream (Subclass 188E)
Applicants applying under Entrepreneur will be able to continue to need the endorsement of an approved Service Provider prior to submitting an application for state nomination.
