In today’s blog update, we’ll be discussing the soon-to-be-available premium processing for certain petitions.
According to the recent update, phase 3 of stage 1 will begin in August 2022, including I-40 petitions in the EB-1C category of Multinational Executive/Manager that were filed with USCIS before July 2021 and pending I-40 petitions in EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW) category that were filed before August 2021, with USCIS.
Premium Processing Expansion program will initiate its stage 1 in June 2022. In its first stage, the I-140 petitions will be carried out in phases; only long pending petitions can be upgraded to premium processing.
Keeping in mind the I-485 Adjustment of Status application, the premium process remains unattainable for the last step of the green card process.
Pending petitions in the EB-1C Multinational Executive/Manager category will initiate phase 1 of stage 1 in June 2022.
Initiating phase 2 of stage 1, which will begin in July 2022, all pending petitions in EB-1C
Multinational Executive /Manager category filed before March 2021 with USCIS, and pending I-140 petitions in the EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW) category filed with USCIS on or before June 1, 2021.
The government fee for premium processing for both categories is $ 2500. Furthermore, instead of 15 days, the USCIS will have 45 days to adjudicate the case.
USCIS has announced no time frame to roll out different phases of stage 1, such as premium processing upgrades of NIW cases and the EB-1C category.
