A new pilot scheme announced by the UK government offers a £10,000 International Relocation Payment (IRP) to qualified teachers and eligible overseas trainees of languages and physics interested in relocating and working in English schools.
The IRP payment is expected to pay for the visa fees, relocation costs, and immigration health surcharge. Moreover, teachers or trainees will receive it by the end of the first term without any deadlines for repayment.
Trainees and qualified teachers worldwide who are interested in migrating to England and training and teaching in English institutes will get financial support through this scheme. The pilot scheme will be active during the 2023-24 academic year, and new applications will be accepted in Autumn 2023 in September or October.
The scheme dictates that teachers or trainees should not be living in the UK already. Furthermore, they should be visiting England to train or work during the 2023-24 academic year. Visit the official website to view the complete information related to the eligibility requirements for trainee teachers and teachers.
The newly introduced pilot scheme is among the measures taken by the government to attract the best teachers from all over the world to come and start employment in English schools. Don’t forget measures like granting QTS to international teachers and a package of scholarships and bursaries available for overseas candidates in priority subjects.

I have done my Master’s degree in physics last year with aggregate cgpa of 9.07. I also got 6.5 bands in IELTS examination. But I don’t have any teaching degree. Can you please help me in figuring out how to avail the benefit of this scheme.
