- From April 1, 2024, the new USCIS filing fees will be effective.
- The increased fee will be applicable for all the registrations entered on or after April 1, 2024. However, registrations made before April 1, 2024, will not be impacted by this fee increase.
- You can find the new USCIS filing fee schedule under the New Fee Schedule Table tab.
- The H-1B registration fee has been raised from $10.00 to $215.00 per registration. However, the upcoming H-1B registration period, held in March 2024, is exempt from this $215.00 fee and will remain at $10.00 for this year.
- Employers who are filing Form I-129 or Form I-140 petitions are now required to pay an Asylum Program Fee of $600.00 per petition, in addition to the new filing fee(s) for these forms.

Furthermore, the USCIS is revising its form editions to be effective on April 1, 2024, along with the new filing fees. Please note that USCIS has also marked a grace period from April 1, 2024, through June 3, 2024, to accept prior editions of most forms, provided these forms are submitted with the correct filing fee(s) to USCIS. However, it is essential to note that no grace period is allowed for Form I-129 or Form I-140.
