Global Visa Wait Times Published
Estimated appointment times for various application cases with the demonstration through a table have been published by the US State Department. It has been announced by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), applications for adjustment of status will be based on the eligibility of the employment which will be determined through the dates published in the State Department’s Date for filing chart in the January Visa Bulletin.

Waivers For Interview Requirements Announced:
Policy waiving in-person interviews has been extended by the US State Department for selected visa categories of temporary employment, and academic-based nonimmigrants, along with the renewal applications for the non-immigrant category visas that have expired within the last 48 months.
However, The qualifying temporary employment visa categories include H-1, H-3, H-4, L, O, P, Q, and various agricultural and non-agricultural H-2 visas.

Covid-19 Test Requirements For Chinese Travelers:
Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has announced making negative test requirements for Covid-19 mandatory for people who are willing to enter the US from China.
It has been further announced by CDC that passengers will be required to have their negative Covid-19 test reports or certificates of recovery while boarding a plane from the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macau to the United States of America. This measure has been initiated as a result of the increased number of Covid cases in China.
